OC Shower and Childbirth Graduation

Last weekend my INCREDIBLE Aunt Suzan through a shower for me at her home in Coto. It was beautiful and I was so blessed by all my friends and family who were able to attend. The weather was perfect so we ate a late lunch outside and then opened gifts...I was overwhelmed and amazed by the generosity of my wonderful friends.
Jen and I will be having our daughters about a month apart! We're working hard even now to make sure they are close friends.

I came home and showed Andrew all the cute gifts we received at the shower...we are still trying to find room for everything!
"MiMi," Kelly and the Baby.
Last weekend Andrew and I graduated from our childbirth class! I think we're the first graduates to only attend half the class (some poor trainee booked us into the second half of a 2 day, 9-4:30 class). Let's hope the baby doesn't come early as our next class isn't for a few weeks.

Christmas 2007

This Christmas has been full of great memories, food and time with family and friends! We spent time with family in Palm Desert and enjoyed (the Baby and I, that is) the famous Brandes Pistachio Salad. NOTE: There is in fact no lettuce in Pistachio Salad but we love it anyway.
We received a stoller/car seat from my generous Aunt and Uncle...it only took us 1 1/2 hours to put it together!
My parents started a new Christmas Eve tradition a few years back. We have a big lobster and crab dinner and we all manage to consume at least a half stick of butter in the course of the evening. Tis the season!
Christmas Eve at my parents. We take this shot every year we're in town...only this year I've put on a few pounds.
I'm counting the days until Lisa moves back from D.C.!
