I felt so blessed this Christmas. 2008 has certainly had its challenges but it was also a year full of incredible memories, including the birth of our sweet Emma Grace. We are blessed by fantastic friends and family, excellent health, and we continue to be amazed by how the Lord continues to remain faithful to our family. We look forward to seeing where he leads us in 2009!
Obligatory first tree pic. A note to our friends in the Northwest - yes, Andrew is in fact wearing sandals. We celebrated Christmas with both families at the Brandes'. All families agreed ahead of time that it would be a low-key Christmas. Apperantly the Grandparents define "low-key" differently than we do, as evidenced by all of Emma's gifts.Merry Christmas from the Hartmans.

Hooray Hartman Family! I'm so excited to read your updated blog! It's funny you said you had a talk with your family about making this a "low-key" Christmas. We had the same conversation with a similar outcome, though I could tell they had used some restraint. I just can't imagine what it would've been like had we not made that agreement! Looking forward to seeing you guys soon! Ana
